Yang Style 108?
If Martial Arts were Music, then Tai Chi would be a musical genre... lets say blues. There are different blues traditions- Chicago, New Orleans, Delta... and there are different styles of Tai Chi- Yang, Wu, Chen...
Within each style of Tai Chi there are different families... no-one practices exactly the same way. The Yang Style is very popular, and many people practice it.
Yang Style Tai Chi is essentially a movement vocabulary... a collection of self defense techniques, that you can mix and match. A Tai Chi form is about taking those movements, stringing them together in a specific order, and practicing them.
There is a Yang Style Short form- also known as the 24 form- 24 moves. I like the long form- 108 moves- I feel I can get more involved and more focused , when the process takes 45 minutes as opposed to 5 minutes.
I will be teaching the 108 form, section by section. It takes a while to learn, but it's worth doing, because the long form will hold your interest for a lifetime.
