Wisdom Medicine with evening hours
A lesson we have learned from years of clinical experience,is that for Chinese Medicine to be effective, it needs to be accessible.
Private treatments tend to be expensive, while the community acupuncture model does not allow for detailed patient/ doctor interaction.
A unique aspect of Chinese Medicine is the vast amount of wisdom it has accumulated over time. A practitioner can draw upon thousands of years of detailed case studies, and medical theory, to help arrive at a clear diagnosis, and a resulting, effective treatment plan.
Use of Telemedicine video conferencing allows us to separate our diagnostic days from our treatment days. This affords us time to fully commit to both aspects of the medicine individually, make detailed preparation for each acupuncture session, and save our patients time spent at the clinic.

As acupuncture treatments are most effective when done in a series, we have made our office hours more accessable as well.
We maintain evening hours- until 10pm- allowing our patients to complete a full course of treatment without missing work time.
At Inquisitive Owl Acupuncture, we maintain that Traditional East Asian Medicine is essential to preserve the health, vitality, and well being of the individual, and the community.
We believe our practice paradigm is the future of our field, as it keeps Chinese Medicine, accessible, while preserving the integrity of the diagnostic process.

About our Practice
We earned our Masters in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperors College in Los Angeles, CA- Aiko in 2009, Jonathan in 2010.
We each interned at the Arthur Ashe Medical Center at UCLA. Aiko completed a further internship at Venice Family Clinic in Santa Monica, and apprenticed in Herbalism under the instruction of Dr. Hua Bing Wen in Beverly Hills.
Together, we have successfully treated over 2000 patients for a wide variety of conditions.
We both believe that the key to success as a practitioner, is to never stop learning. Not every modality or technique will work for every patient, so it is crucial to continually expand ones knowledge. We have gained expertise in the areas of Chinese physiology, Meridian Style Acupuncture, Korean 4 Needle Technique, The Balance Method, Zhu and Jiao Style Scalp acupuncture, Master Tung acupuncture, and Classical herbal formulae.
Aiko is an avid practitioner of yoga, meditation, and Japanese Qigong. Jonathan teaches Yang style Tai Chi, and has been a practitioner of Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu for 12 years.
